The PIIF is an industry group of 20 Superannuation, Provident, Trust, and Sovereign Funds in 12 countries across the Pacific region with over $16.2 billion (NZD) in Funds under management. Together they represent the savings and financial wellbeing of over 1.6 million members — providing a platform for Collaboration, Education, and Co-Investing to improve financial security for Pacific people.
In April 2023, I attended the CEO’s forum for the Pacific Islands Investment Forum (PIIF) as a travelling communications consultant for the Forum. Port Moresby is synonymous for business trade and invest in the Pacific. The event gathered together the CEOs and Executives of the member funds for their annual AGM and to discuss investments and opportunities for collaboration in the region. The CEO’s forum was held across a week.
To have been given the opportunity to attend, and utilise my skillset to enhance the digital presence of a powerful industry group, was a huge privilege to say the least. My task was simple but didn’t come without pressure: produce an array of high quality, professional assets each day that can be used to enhance the forums digital presence, garner international attention and ultimately, encourage investment opportunities in the region.

Website Design & Management
Prior to the 2023 CEO’s forum, our agency was engaged to re-design the PIIF website. The previous site had not been updated since its original creation in 2017. We successfully completed this project over 4 weeks to deliver a professional site that was simple in it’s design, yet clean, elegant and most importantly, efficient.
The launch of the new PIIF website coincided perfectly with the start of the forum, showcased to the hundreds of industry members and stakeholders in attendance.
Due to the great work delivered to deadline, our team was invited to attend the Forum as a consultant for the PIIF. Whilst in Papua New Guinea we worked closely alongside the PIIF, managing external communications. This included the production of still, moving and written assets for public distribution.
